Headgame keeps the minimum needed to compute your card. Nothing is sold, nothing is used for advertising.
The games on this site
The tests run in your browser. Your best score and your last 20 scores for each test are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so you can see your progress. They are never sent anywhere. You can erase them by clearing this site’s data in your browser. The same storage remembers if you closed the language suggestion.
No game result is collected today. If an anonymous collection is switched on later to build the Headgame norm, this page will be updated first, and each game would send only the test, the raw score, the type of pointer, the language and the day, with no identifier, no cookie and no IP address kept.
The waitlist
When you sign up, we keep your email, your year of birth, the sign up date and, if you came from a video, the campaign name in the link. Nothing else.
It has one purpose, sending you an email on the day the app is released. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected] or with the unsubscribe link.
The year of birth is used to check that you are 15 or older. Under 15, the form refuses the sign up and nothing is sent. Everything is erased three months after the app is released, or as soon as you ask.
Challenge links
A challenge link (an address ending in /c/) carries the card or the score inside the address itself. The page reads it in your browser, without sending anything to a server. It shows a username, a score, a rank and stats, nothing else.
This website
No cookies, no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this site, so loading a page sends nothing to a third party.
We count visits to the home page and clicks on the pre-order button, to know which video brings people. We also count visits to the brain rot test page and finished tests, without ever sending your scores. Each count contains the page, the time, the campaign and video names present in the link, and the name of the site you came from. No cookie, no storage in your browser, no IP address kept, no identifier. We cannot tell that two visits come from the same person. This audience measurement is exempt from consent under the rules of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, and the counts are erased 13 months later at the latest.
Reserving Pro
If you reserve Pro, the payment goes through our payment provider, which keeps the data needed for the payment and the invoice. We receive your email, the amount, the date and the name of the video you came from, to turn on Pro at release and refund you if needed. Legal basis, the contract. Duration, the time required by accounting rules.

What Headgame never collects
Your location, your contacts, your photos except the image you choose to save, the content of your other apps, an advertising identifier, health data.
Who is responsible
Headgame is the controller of your data. For any question or request, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days at most.
Where your data is
Your card, your game results, your sessions and your streak are calculated and kept on this phone. If you delete the app, they go with it.
Your merits, your coins, the shop, your purchased and equipped items and your scores stay on this phone and never go to a server. Coins are never sold, and no purchase gives any.
In this version, the app sends nothing to a Headgame server. Your username, your birth date and your onboarding answers stay on this phone. Only the subscription goes through providers, see Who has access.
On Android, if you allow it, Headgame reads app usage history during a session, to remove the minutes spent elsewhere. This reading happens on your phone and nothing is sent. You can withdraw access in Android settings.
If an online feature opens in a future version, this page will be updated first, and nothing will be sent without the app telling you.
Why we use it
To run the app, compute your score, count your hours and send you the reminders you chose. The legal basis is the contract, the terms of use you accept.
For usage statistics, the legal basis is your consent. You can turn them off in the app without losing any feature.
Minimum age
Headgame is for ages 15 and up. In France, from 15 you can consent alone to the processing of your data. Under 15, the app keeps nothing and the anonymous identifier is deleted.
Who has access
Nobody reads your results. The subscription is handled by the App Store or Google Play, depending on your phone, and by RevenueCat, our subscription provider, which receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase history, never your bank card. Anonymous usage statistics are only sent if you turn them on, to PostHog, hosted in the European Union. The release email goes through our email provider. Each processes the data for us only, with the safeguards of the GDPR.
Your card becomes public only if you share it. The share link shows your username, your score and your rank, nothing else.
Your rights
You can access, correct, receive a copy of, restrict or erase your data at any time. In the app, the copy and the deletion are in Settings.
If an answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the CNIL at cnil.fr.
Delete your data
In the app, open Settings, then Delete my account. This erases your profile and your data on this phone.
Purchase history kept by RevenueCat can be erased on request at [email protected].
